In Honor of 15 year old Miss Becky of Calgary, who passed to the Rainbow Bridge on April 7, 2009 - leaving behind her 15 years of memories, 15 years of friends and 15 years of complete and total adoration from her human Georgie.....
Miss Becky was born in Rimbey, Alberta, Canada on December 5, 1993. Miss Becky was proof positive that a lot can be accomplished in 15 years. She was the Babes' Manicurist, a Daily Drool icon and, most important a friend to all. She was always there to lend a helping hand and was a PALS dog, visiting nursing homes, where she would snatch the odd sandwich off the unattended food cart while on her visiting rounds. In her quest to bring cheer to other's lives, photographs of Miss Becky's adorn the walls of many a soldier in Iraq and Afghanistan. Miss Becky had numerous health problems but, because of her stubborn Basset nature (and a lot of help from Georgie and a great vet) she defied all odds and lived a long and lively 15 years. Please help us continue Miss Becky's caring and loving spirit by contributing to her memorial fund to help pay medical expenses for senior hounds residing at Daphneyland. She will be missed by so many left here, but make no mistake, she has joined friends old and new At The Bridge and you can bet she is enriching their lives, just like she did for all of us---that's just Miss Becky.

The senior hounds have so much love to give, they enjoy sunshine on their bellies, a soft bed to snuggle up in, soft food in most cases and someone to whisper in their ears how truly wonderful and beautiful they are.
Miss Becky may be gone from her human Mom - but her spirit lives on in each and every shining senior hound who's velvet paws take a step in the sunlight.

The Senior Care Fund shall be spent on senior hounds here at Daphneyland under the care of BaRNI. On any given day we have on average 40 seniors hounds requiring love and attention.
