The 3rd Annual Kaila & Grace’s Hope & Hearts 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, Sept. 6th, 2008 at Lake Harriet in Minneapolis, MN. This is a signature fundraising event for Missing GRACE Foundation (MGF) & by choosing one of the 3 options below you can help us reach our goal to raise $50,000.

1.  Create your own online fundraising page or join a team to fundraise together
2.  Click on the "Donate" button (top right) to make a general contribution
3.  Contribute to a friend’s page. Search for their page by clicking on “View all Fundraisers/Teams” or type their name under “Sponsor a Friend.”  Send a note to others asking to visit your friend's site to pledge their support too.

Donations are tax-deductible & donors will receive a tax receipt from MGF.

    We are grateful for the generous community support that has helped MGF provide services and assistance to thousands of families across the globe. MGF provides support locally in MN and offers resources nationally and internationally. Services include: 24-hour Hospital Crisis Care services, ongoing grief support, subsequent pregnancy support (a home-fetal monitoring program!), and resources for infertility and adoption issues. MGF works with MN hospitals directly, providing the newly bereaved parents with the following services: a GRACE Care Basket filled with comforting and helpful resources, a "Making Memories" photography and videography session, arrangements for burial or cremation- finding low or no cost providers to ease the financial burden on the parents, and follow up home visits. MGF also offers the national GRACE Conference for health care professionals and families as well as an annual GRACE Weekend Retreat for Bereaved Families in October.

    When you donate to sponsor a Team or Individual that is walking or running at a Hope & Hearts event, you help MGF in continuing to fulfill its mission to serve families in need.

    Registration opens at 7:30am. Reg. is $25 for adults and $8 for kids prior to 9/4/08; $30/$10 for on-site registration and includes a free t-shirt, raffle ticket, goodie bag, refreshments and “Hearts to Heaven Balloon Release”. Pre-register online by August 6th in order to ensure you receive your Kaila & Grace’s Hope & Hearts Run t-shirt!
