Thank you for visiting the MissMalaprop.com Charity Fundraiser page!

This is the third fundraiser, and every few months we'll be picking a new worthwhile charity to raise awareness and funds for.  So far we've raised over $425 in donations for two fantastic New Orleans charities: The Green Project and Big Brothers-Big Sisters of Southeast Louisiana.  I think we can top that...let's push for $1000 for the chosen charity for May through July: Desire NOLA.

Desire NOLA is a really amazing local non-profit that was formed following Hurricane Katrina.  Organized by a passionate group of young community leaders, Desire NOLA is committed to rebuilding the Greater New Orleans area by assisting small businesses.  Desire NOLA works to accomplish this goal by providing grants and business development assistance to locally owned businesses that embody the unique culture and ambiance of New Orleans.
