| My personal message: |
Thank you for visiting the MissMalaprop.com Charity Fundraiser page for January and February 2007. This is the kick-off fundraiser, and every other month we'll be picking a new worthwhile charity to raise awareness and funds for.
I chose Big Brothers-Big Sisters of Southeast Louisiana as the first charity since this is a charity I have recently become personally involved with as a volunteer. Part of the national Big Brothers-Big Sisters organization, the Southeast Louisiana affiliate is near and dear to my heart. The kids in this program have been through a lot, having to deal with the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina on top of everything else.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support these fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
-Mallory
P.S. If you can't afford to donate money, consider volunteering your time. It's actually a lot of fun, and you'll quickly notice the difference that it can make in a child's life. Find your local chapter and learn about volunteering here.
