Thank you for visiting the MissMalaprop.com Charity Fundraiser page.  During the first seven months of 2007 we raised a total of $495 for three awesome New Orleans-based charities via Firstgiving.  You can see the original Desire NOLA fundraiser here or find out more about the MissMalaprop.com fundraisers here.

Desire NOLA is a really amazing local non-profit that was formed following Hurricane Katrina.  Organized by a passionate group of young community leaders, Desire NOLA is committed to rebuilding the Greater New Orleans area by assisting small businesses.  Desire NOLA works to accomplish this goal by providing grants and business development assistance to locally owned businesses that embody the unique culture and ambiance of New Orleans.
