Mission:
The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America is to make a positive difference in the lives of children and youth, primarily through a professionally-supported One-To-One relationship with a caring adult, and to assist them in achieving their highest potential as they grow to become confident, competent and caring individuals, by providing committed volunteers, national leadership and stardards of excellence.

Charity Fundraiser page for January and February 2007. This is the kick-off fundraiser, and every other month we'll be picking a new worthwhile charity to raise awareness and funds for.
I chose
Big Brothers-Big Sisters of Southeast Louisiana
as the first charity since this is a charity I have recently become personally involved with as a volunteer. Part of the national
Big Brothers-Big Sisters
organization, the Southeast Louisiana affiliate is near and dear to my heart. The kids in this program have been through a lot, having to deal with the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina on top of everything else.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support these fundraising efforts.
