NYWC conducts more than 900 free creative-writing workshops annually for at-risk youth, adult residents of supportive housing, seniors and other unheard members of society. We also publish anthologies of workshop members' writing and hold regular readings. NYWC's goal is to create an inclusive city, one that is aware of the power and diversity of every voice and life within it.
