Hello friends,

I am volunteering in the 2009 Earth Day Build-A-Thon.   I will be participating in an effort to frame twenty eco-friendly houses in four days!  This is an opportunity for me to use my experience in construction to help several families in our community.    

As many of you already know I am studying Construction Management.  My primary focus is green building practices and materials.  I hope that eventually the ways we design and build houses prioritizes sustainability, our environment and future generations.  

More important is the immediate need of these families.  If I had the time I would volunteer everyday to help families in difficult situations.  These are families with children who are living in shelters or on the streets.  They need our help.
