I hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. I don't normally impose like this. But, think this is important enough to take some of your time ...
There are 2 objectives for this letter:
1. Solicit sponsorship of Mitch and his son, Antonio, on their ride in this event, and,
2. Further the distribution of this letter to those you know who might find it worthwhile
i. to increase awareness, sponsorship and donations for this event, and,
ii. to increase participation of other riders
My son ("Speed Racer") will be riding along to support those we know, and know of, suffering from this condition. The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation hits very close to home for us. We are grateful to be so blessed.
- My wife's sibling, just prior to her in the birth order, died at the age of 2
- A work associate is challenged 2 ways- his daughter, and her grandmother (see www.firstgiving.com/katieproctor2009)
- A neighbor, who is 2 days older than Antonio, is undergoing treatment
- A friend was diagnosed with a brain tumor at 2, and given 6 months to live. He turns 13 this year.
Last year, through your very generous support, we raised OVER $1600.oo for PBTF!
We were blessed to have personal acquaintance with two of the seven honorees.
Thank You!

Last year, some guy from New York wandered in to the Michigan Ride, and walked away as the top contributor. This year, I've set our goal at the highest recognized level of contribution (even though the New Yorker DOUBLED that last year). With your help, maybe we can give him a run for his money this year.
