Join the Moore & Van Allen Campaign to support the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics!

Support from Moore & Vann Allen associates of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department's fundraising efforts has led to many opportunities for Special Olympics athletes in the Charlotte area, and we are excited about supporting summer sports programs in 2009!

You are invited to join MVA in participating in the Sponsor an Athlete program!  Your generous support will allow athletes from Mecklenburg County to compete in track & field, swimming, gymnastics, powerlififting, volleyball, softball, bowling, tennis and equestrian at two state-level competition events this summer!  The SONC Summer Games event is June 5 - 7, and the Midsummer Tournament is July 17 - 19.  Athletes from our area will compete with peers from across NC and will enjoy a full weekend of ceremonies, competition, housing in college dorms, delegation dinners and Victory Dances. 

Choose the sport you want to follow, and sponsor an athlete, a few athletes, or an entire team!  Get updates, including photos, on the experiences your support made possible as you follow the athlete(s) you have supported through upcoming competition events.

$5 - Support Moore & Van Allen's Blue Jeans Day, and your donation will provide two Special Olympics Summer Games gold medals!

$35 - Sponsor a track & field athlete to participate in the Special Olympics NC Summer Games

$70 - Sponsor a doubles tennis team in the Special Olympics NC Midsummer Tournament

$140 - Sponsor a swim team medley relay in the Special Olympics NC Summer Games

$210 - Sponsor the softball team's infield in the Special Olympics NC Summer Games

$525 - Sponsor a Volleyball Team in the Special Olympics NC Summer Games
