The Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society (MRFRS) is a nationally recognized, non-profit volunteer-driven organization committed to ensuring the health and welfare of feral and domestic cats and kittens by promoting proactive, compassionate, no-kill programs. Since our founding in 1992, we have spayed/neuter over 30,000 cats through our feral clinic and Catmobile mobile clinic programs. We have adopted out over 17,000 cats in that time, and assisted countless cat owners and other groups. We are funded entirely by private donations, grants, and events like the Strut for Strays.

MRFRS's 2012 Strut for Strays pledge walk & festival will be held at the Bartlet Mall in Newburyport, MA on Sunday, May 20th from 11am to 4pm, rain or shine.
