Dear Family and Friends,

What does the word “Mulligan” mean to you?  Does it make you think of the second chance often afforded a golfer when his/her first shot was hideously muffed (or missed altogether)?  Do you consider the word “Mulligan” to be synonymous with a “do over”?

 Mulligan is what is commonly known as a “dumpster kitten”.  He and his siblings were tossed away like garbage.  Fortunately, he was discovered in the Johnston Landfill and brought to the Providence Animal Rescue League by the Animal Control Officer.  There, he was examined by a vet, cleaned and fed by the staff and placed in our home where he will stay until he has gained enough weight and is suitably socialized to be adopted.
