Walk For Hope is a 3K or 5K walk/run around Waubonsie Creek at Fox Valley Park District’s Eola Center. This family friendly event will support the services provided at Mutual Ground for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
Each year Mutual Ground provides Safety, Healing and Prevention services for about 2,000 victims each year, with the goal of helping them become self-sufficient and regaining control of their lives. In addition, age appropriate education/prevention programs on sexual assault and domestic violence are provided for children in area schools.
All of Mutual Ground’s services are free and confidential. While government funding accounts for a portion of our income, it is never enough to help all those who come to our door. Your commitment to our mission and participation in Walk For Hope will help us to empower many more victims to become survivors.
