The mission of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) of DuPage County is to provide support, advocacy and education in order to improve the quality of life of individuals with mental illness and their families. Our programs and services offer the information, resources and support that individuals and families need to work through times of crises and take positive steps towards recovery. We work with community partners such as hospitals, schools and police departments to promote early treatment for individuals with or at-risk for serious mental illnesses within a recovery-oriented model of care. We also work with other agencies including the DuPage County Health Department to provide housing services for adults with serious mental illness.
