Thank you for visiting the fundraising page of the Nana's Children Team! Ride for the Children benefits The Real Gift Foundation for Homeless Children (TRGF). TRGF is a volunteer-based 501(c)(3), tax exempt, organization committed to impacting the lives of the over 12,000 homeless children attending schools in Maricopa County in direct, positive and meaningful ways. TRGF creates volunteer projects, oversees fund-raising events and coordinates efforts to raise awareness and resolution of the issues relating to children of homeless families.

These include:

• Providing classroom, library and medical center supplies
• Ensuring that each child has clothing, personal care items and a backpack full of school supplies
• Sponsoring annual toy drives to provide holiday and birthday gifts
• Providing Thanksgiving Dinners for students and their families
• Repairing and replacing playgrounds
• Funding programs that offer education, counseling, outreach, and medical services

Why should you help?
While our schools are partially financed by public funds, community, corporate and individual assistance is needed to help close the huge gap between the limited public funding and the schools’ overwhelming annual budgets.
