Napa Humane's Walk for Animals 2012
Move your Paws for the Cause!
Downtown Napa goes to the dogs for the inaugural Walk for Animals, a summer morning one-mile walk (with or without your pooch!) on Sunday, August 5, 2012 in support of companion animals throughout the Napa Valley!
More than 300 walkers are expected to strut their stuff at this dog- and family-friendly fundraising event!
Beginning and ending at Veterans Memorial Park on Main Street, registered walkers receive an official Walk for Animals t-shirt, a goodie bag, and enjoy a morning full of live music by The Deadlies, a doggie contest, puppet show, give-aways and more as they come together to raise funds for Napa Humane.
Ready. Set. Walk!
- Get started by clicking the green “Register” button.
- Register for $25 ($35 day of event)
- Create a profile page as an individual then join or create a team.
- Make your leadership gift to kick things off, and then collect donations from family, friends, and colleagues.
- WALK!
It’s that’s simple…and 100% of proceeds benefit Napa Humane’s programs and services serving Napa Valley pets and the people who care for and about them.
Raise funds and earn prizes! (With the biggest prize being the satisfaction of raising funds for animals, of course).
In addition to prizes, awards will be given to the top individual fundraisers and the top fundraising teams!
After you register, go to the Walk for Animals event page for great tips to put the “fun” in fundraising (how about holding a team rummage sale? Or put a donation jar on your office desk?) You can also download the Team Toolkit, promotional flyers, donation collection form and many more resources to make your (and our) “Walk” the best ever!
Can't make it to the Walk? Check out the list of walkers and teams and make a donation to their efforts!
Thank you for your support of Napa Humane!
