Welcome to my first-ever fundraising page! This cause was suggested by my friend and running buddy, Kim Tufts. It is a worthy effort! World Vision works to tackle the root causes of poverty by working with children, families, and their communities to provide things like: clean water, health care, nutritious food, education, and economic opportunities. I'm trying to raise money for this great cause as I prepare to run the 2008 Chicago Marathon for the FIRST time on October 12. The idea that I can do some good as I go through training has already given me tremendous inspiration!
