DOG FIGHTING HITS HOME
Most of us don't think dog fighting effects us or that it doesn't happen in "my" neighborhood. The reality is, it happens everywhere. Misunderstood has recently been touched personally by this fact. One of our beloved foster dogs "disappeared" and was found days later.

He had apparently been used in a dog fight and was badly injured. His ear had to be amputated and his face had to be stiched back together. His face was terribly infected and he had fight scars all over his body. Right now we are searching for a RESPONSIBLE foster home for him, where he can heal in peace and quiet.

We also are asking for your financial assistance. His medical bills are already over a $1,000 and are growing everyday. We were just told today that he may likely need several skin graphs and some plastic surgery to repair his ear. The hole left behind is too large and will not close on it's own. Any assistance you can provide is greatly appreciated.

We are looking into criminal charges and would like to use any additional funds raised over our goal as a reward for anyone who can come up with concrete evidence to help our case.

This kind of neglecful and cruel behavior has got to stop!
