I am writing to let you know that it’s that time of the year again – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Gallatin County (BBBSGC) annual Bowl For Kids Sake. As most of you know I have been with this organization for 10 years and there is a reason for my long term commitment to BBBSGC. Every year I see the impact that a “Big” makes when they are matched with a “Little”. Our Littles who have been matched with a “Big” over a year have more self confidence in themselves, they are less likely to use drugs/alcohol and their relationship with others have increased. These are just a few of the many positive impacts that not only affect the kids directly but their family members, friends, school, and the community as a whole.
I need your help to raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Gallatin. My goal this year is to raise $1000 which is the cost to support one match (Big and Little) for a year. A contribution to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Gallatin County is truly an investment in our local community. Each gift goes directly into our program, matching a child with a positive adult role model. These relationships lead children to make better choices through their youth, adolescence and on a positive path toward adulthood. When you impact the life of a child, you impact an entire community. Currently we have over 50 children on our waiting list that would like to be matched with a “Big”. Please help me match these “Littles” with a “Big” so they can have a positive experience too. It's easy for you to help, especially with this online giving system. But, if you are not comfortable giving online email or call me to discuss a pledge, and BBBS will send you an invoice later this year.
