The North Carolina Chapter of the National Lung Cancer Partnership was originally founded in 2006 as North Carolinians Against Lung Cancer by a group of healthcare providers, lung cancer survivors and advocates. In 2008, the group became the first state Chapter of the National Lung Cancer Partnership, the only national non-profit lung cancer organization founded by physicians and researchers, with lung cancer survivors and advocates.
The North Carolina Lung Cancer Partnership is committed to decreasing deaths due to lung cancer and helping patients live longer and better lives through research, awareness and advocacy.
