We've made it simple for you to create your own online fundraising page to raise funds quickly & easily for Neurofibromatosis Midwest and the neurofibromatosis cause.

Getting started is easy!
It literally takes only a few minutes to create your online fundraising page:

• Click the "Start Fundraising" button
• Select the Event or Campaign that you will be fundraising for
• Personalize the text with your story and the photo so your donors know your passion and purpose. 
• Let your family know that you have Stepped Forward for the NF cause by emailing your entire address book and using social networking (ie. Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr) and directing them to your page
• Thank your supporters

That's it!

Our main fundraising events are our Great Steps Walks for Neurofibromatosis. But there are many other ways that you can Step Forward for NF. You can create a "community event" and create your event page under that campaign. If you choose to participate in a walk we still encourage "community events" to raise funds and awarens, but you may raise for those under the Great Steps event page.

Fantasy Walk - Virtually anywhere! - Feb. 1st - Sept. 30th, 2012

Funds raised from these events are used to support research studies, which have led to discoveries about not only Neurofibromatosis (NF), but also cancer and learning disabilities. In addition to research, NF Midwest provides support, education and hope for NF families. Some funds may be used for clinical programs, education and awareness.

What is NF?  NF is a genetic disorder of the nervous system that causes tumors to form on the nerves anywhere in the body at any time.  NF can cause tumors, cancer, hearing loss, learning disabilities, epilepsy, bone deformities, vision impairment and chronic pain.  There is no cure......YET!
