Nicholas, now 4 1/2, continues to impress his family and friends.  Since last year's Buddy Walk & Roll, Nick has added numerous words to his vocabulary, rides his trike, runs all over, and is working on potty training.  He loves riding the horses, going to see the Wild hockey games, fishing with Grandpa, digging in the sand box, chasing the dog, and leaving a trail of clutter/mess for Mom.

He has kept busy this summer with swimming lessons through SCSU, school, and speech/physical/occupational therapy.  His sisters work diligently to guide him and protect him.

Arc Midstate has helped us out in so many ways.  Through monthly Down syndrome Parent Groups, advice for navigating through his education and therapies, training for caregivers, parent connections with new parents, and much more.   This non-profit organization provides essential services and awareness through the community.   Your donations help to keep these services available to families who need them.
