We are raising money to give children a chance to grow up! The First Annual “Climb Up so Kids can Grow Up!” fundraiser is being held on September 22nd and 23rd, 2007. The Organization is American Foundation for Children with AIDS (AFCA), a 501(c)(3) and the website is helpchildrenwithaids.org There is a brief write up on the focus of the foundation in the paragraphs to the left. This organization is small but very effecient and effective and dedicated to helping those that are the most vulnerable and who have no voice. Our team's personal "climb up" to raise money for these children is the High Pass Challenge, a 114 mile bike ride (with over 7,500 feet of vertical gain) through the Cascade Mountains.
