Thank you for visiting my fundraising page (again) !

We did it in 2008 : we raised enough money (over $2,000) to make an impact on the lives of children around the world -- see below for more details. And the team raised over $20,000 !

2009 will be a difficult year for everyone, but mostly for the children in need : considering the economy and the upcoming reforms, charitable giving is expected to drop sharply in 2009.

So, I invite you to read my blog to learn about my goals for this year's fundraising for the Lone Star triathlon (April 5th, 2009), my adventures (the picture should give you a hint), and what we can do together for the children.

How we helped :

• $1,000 provides support in Kenya for one teacher and one "mama" for one month in a residential and daycare center serving seventy children
• $2,000 provides a driver's salary and fuel for two months to operate the community transport program in Belgrade serving over 60 institutionalized and special needs children for two months
