The Caring for Carcinoid Foundation (CFCF) is the leading 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to discovering a cure for carcinoid. Carcinoid is a deadly neuroendocrine cancer with no cure. Guided by a highly esteemed Board of Scientific Advisors and a 3-step Research Road Map, CFCF awards research grants to cutting-edge researchers. CFCF also provides a wealth of information to support carcinoid patients, families, and friends. 100% of all donations to CFCF directly fund carcinoid research to discover a cure.

My personal message:
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! In 2005, my mother in law, Catherine Blackwood, was diagnosed with Carcinoid, a neuroendocrine cancer. Along with all the members of her family, as well as many friends, we are participating in the Breezy Point Triathlon, in Norfolk, Va, to raise funds for cancer research. She and I are on a team together. All donations go to the Caring for Carcinoid Foundation (www.caringforcarcinoid.org) Inc!
