***** THANK YOU EVERYONE WHO JOINED US ON THIS RAINY DAY FOR THE 5K. MUCH MUCH LOVE TO ALL OF YOU AND THANK ALL WHO HAVE DONATED TO THIS SITE. WE MADE NINO VERY PROUD TODAY EVEN THOUGH HE'S STILL TELLING ME "ENOUGH MICHELLE" WITH ALL THAT RAIN !!!!! *****
My Name is Michelle (Struppa) D'Itria.
This is my brother Nino. He left us on July 17, 2009. He is sadly and terribly missed, by our entire family but especially by his Loving wife Karen and their two Wonderful Children, Anthony & Deana.
Our family has been devistated by the loss of Nino and we feel, if it is possible, that anything good can come out of Nino's choice to leave us, we need to give it a try.
Our family is participating in the Samaritans 5K walk this October 3rd and we've started "Nino's Team". Your support will mean the world to us. We need to help the Samaritans on their quest for funding to continue their Suicide Survivor Support Groups (which some of our family attends twice a month) and most importantly, Suicide Prevention. It's the Samaritans walk/run for Someone Else's Life on 10/3/2009.
Don't remember Him for how His life ended. Remember Him for how He lived His life.
A Dedicated Husband and Father
A Wonderful Son & Son-in-Law
A Loving Brother and Brother-in-Law
A Caring Friend
A kind, gentle and generous man
The Apple of our family's eyes
*********************************************************************
To the living, He is gone
To the sorrowful, He will never return
To the angry, He was cheated
But, to the Happy, He is at Peace
And to the Faithful, He is still here
He cannot speak but He can listen
He cannot be seen but He can be felt
So as you stand upon a shore, gazing at the beautiful sea
As you look upon a flower and admire its simplicity
Remember Him
Remember Him in your hearts, your thought and your memories
The times we cried
The times we fought
The times we laughed
For if you always think of Him
He will Never be Gone
Those who have faith know, they never see each other for the last time.
You were one of a kind my Brother.
You will be Loved & Missed Forever
