National Kidney Foundation of Southeast Texas

Sorry, no fundraising available

Welcome!

The National Kidney Foundation of Southeast Texas was founded in 1963 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing ongoing public education, free kidney disease screenings and direct patient support to those in the Gulf Coast region suffering from chronic kidney and urinary diseases. The mission of the National Kidney Foundation of Southeast Texas is to prevent kidney and urinary tract diseases, improve the overall health and well-being of those affected by these diseases and increase the availability of all organs for transplantation.

In addition to public education and emotional support, the NKF of Southeast Texas provides financial assistance to help cover medication costs, transportation and living expenses for kidney patients. The sheer variety, and number, of programs that the NKF offers throughout the 37 counties it serves takes a tremendous amount of time, energy and, most importantly, funding.
