Our personal message:

 

Thank you for visiting our page.  We walk for many reasons - 

1) To honor our grandmother Jean, who has spent over 40 years of her life caring for her family inflicted by this disease

2) In memory of the family that has been taken from us. All three of Jean's children Carol, Sandy, Bobby and their father Blackie 

3) For Jimmy, Sandy's oldest son, who is valiantly battling this same disease

4) Most importantly, to raise money to fund continued progress in drug therapies to delay onset and lessen symptoms that will give the next generation of HD patients more quality time and hope for the future. Every child of a HD patient has a 50/50 chance of inheriting the disease.  That next generation includes Jimmy's children, Justin & Hanna.

Last year we raised close to $6,000.  This year we would love to reach $10,000!  Won't you join us on September 12th at 10AM for the walk at UNH and our celebration of reaching our goal immediately following the walk.
