AIDS is still at epidemic levels. While new medications are helping people live longer, they are toxic and do not work for everyone.

·         The cost of medical services and medications continues to increase dramatically, while many of those living with AIDS are below poverty level.

·         In the inland northern California area, more than 5,000 people are infected with HIV, and over 2,000 are living with AIDS.

o         Nearly half of all new infections occur in communities of color and among people under age 25. Please accept our Challenge to make a difference in the lives of others… and your own!

By participating in the NorCal AIDS Challenge, you’ll be making a difference in the fight against the AIDS pandemic. You’ll be raising dollars that will be put to immediate use by our beneficiaries to provide critical HIV and AIDS services. You’ll be demonstrating compassion, and educating the communities we pass through along the route. You’ll find yourself among many amazing people who are part of an exceptional effort in the fight against the AIDS pandemic. And finally, you’ll be challenged on a personal level to accomplish what possibly didn’t think you could.
