North Star Reach will provide a life-changing camp experience to children with serious health challenges. Located in southeastern Michigan, the camp is set among tall trees, rolling hills, on a beautiful lake with a clear view of the sky above. Integrated within this inspiring, natural environment will be state-of-the-art medical facilities supported by partnerships with the C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and other area Children’s HealthCenters.
Here, children with life-threatening illnesses will have a chance to get away and just be kids and a caring team of camp counselors, health care professionals and volunteers will encourage them every step of the way.
It’s a about discovery and new experiences. It’s about support and achievements. It’s about transcending and restoring childhood fun. It’s about new friends and unlimited possibilities. .
