Suncoast Basset  Rescue's 2009 "Sweetheart Waddle" will be held Febuary 14 at "Florida Classic Dog Park". The top male dog pledge earner will be named the 2009 Waddle King and the top female dog pledge earner will be named 2009 Waddle Queen.

Suncoast's Waddle weekend is a time for fun, frivolity, and fellowship. As a major fundraiser, the Waddle helps cover medical, shelter, and fostering expenses for hounds year-round. This year, the Waddle, occurring in Brooksville, Florida, is expected to bring together more than 300 animals and even more slaves for some "fun in the sun.
