This year marks the 15th Annual “Makin’ Strides for Strays” walkathon on Sunday May 4th, for ADOPT. Since opening on Oct. 31, 1989, ADOPT has found homes for over 22,000 pets. It takes a lot of hard work on the part of our generous volunteers to find homes for between fifteen and fifty kittens, cats, puppies, and dogs every week.  ADOPT gives the dogs and cats that enter the shelter the best medical care possible.  We could not do it without all the hard work of the volunteers, and donations to the shelter.
