About Pacific Rim Disease Prevention Center
Description: The Pacific Rim Disease Prevention Center is dedicated to conducting public health research, disseminating its findings through publications, and educating the public towards health promotion and disease prevention for the benefit and welfare of all people.
Mission: Specific aims of the Center's mission are:Conduct research in the field of public health with the focus on cardiovascular disease, cancer, and other diseases; 2. Disseminate research findings through publications and other media; and 3. Promote and practice the prevention of chronic diseases through the use of diagnostic procedures, good nutrition, regular exercise, and other health regimens.
