The mission of the Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland is to support families whose children are receiving medical treatment at area medical centers by providing a home-like environment and essential resources and services.
Since 1979, we have proudly served as a home away from home for over 28,000 families in their moments of greatest need. You can help these families by supporting us through Firstgiving.

The 7th Annual Tackle the Tower Stair Climb benefits Cleveland’s home-away-from-home for families and children in their greatest time of need.
Proceeds from Tackle the Tower benefit the Share-A-Night Fund, which directly benefits families unable to afford the House’s nightly $20 fee (actual cost to RMH is $75). This often happens as families’ funds become exhausted by medical expenses or they quit work to spend more time with their ill child. Each year, about 40% of the families who stay at the House do so at a reduced or deferred rate, resulting in nearly $100,000 yearly in uncollected room fees.
In order to grow this program and the hopes of our families, we invite all walkers and runners to join together to climb 37 stories of stairs at the Tower at Erieview located at the Galleria. We hope that our 7th anniversary will be a lucky year – but we can’t do it without you. Every step – and every heart – counts.
