Run to the River is a challenging 10K Urban X-Country / 5K walk  presented by Rocketts Landing:

  • 10K Run - This is a TOUGH course! You will tackle three hills as you dash over cobblestone streets, through historic neighborhoods, up stairsets, and along the banks of the James River in Richmond's best urban cross-country race.
  • 5K Walk - Explore Richmond’s scenic East End on the 5K family walk.
  • Finish Line Party - Enjoy live music, local foods, refreshments.

All proceeds benefit the Neighborhood Resource Center. The race is limited to 500 runners, so register early. Free T-shirts for all registrants.

The Neighborhood Resource Center is a grassroots non-profit whose mission is to foster personal growth and community change in the Greater Fulton community.

Rocketts Landing Run to the River supports community-building programs and resources at the NRC. The NRC offers a Montessori Preschool, after-school tutoring and arts programs, job support services, GED classes, a children's learning garden and health and wellness programs such as tai chi, yoga and healthy cooking classes.
