2009 NSMC Cancer WALK
The annual NSMC Cancer WALK has raised more than $14 million for the NSMC Cancer Center over eighteen years, making it the largest one-day fundraising event on the North Shore of Boston. All funds raised ensure the availability of sophisticated oncology services right here, close to home. The 10K (6.2 mile) route travels through historic Salem and is a community event. A typical walker raises $100, joining family members, colleagues, and survivors for an inspirational day.
