Napa Valley AIDS Walk 2012

Napa Valley AIDS Walk 2012

It's going to be even BIGGER!

It's going to be even BETTER

It's going to be even more SPOOKTACULAR!

Join in the fun as the Napa Valley gathers for the 21st annual Napa Valley AIDS Walk on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Napa Veteran's Park (Main Street between 2nd and 3rd Streets, Downtown Napa).  Once again, it will be another "spooktacular" AIDS Walk as "Napa's Diverse Walks of Life, Partner for a Cure in Costume"!

The goal?  To raise funds and awareness while having fun.  Proceeds from Napa Valley AIDS Walk 2012 will benefit HIV/AIDS Education and Outreach programs of Planned Parenthood Shasta Pacific which provides comprehensive HIV prevention education to Napa County’s highest risk population.  PPSP educators are trained to facilitate groups around harm reduction and to empower its clients to make healthy positive choices about their bodies. The primary goal of groups is HIV prevention, attained through discussions on healthy relationships, sexually transmitted infections, anatomy, communication, values and other topics related to sexual health. PPSP provides education at a wide variety of organizations, such as Project 90, Napa County outpatient adult recovery program, Alternatives for Better living, Wolf Center, Napa County Drinking and Driving Program, Behavioral Interventions, Juvenile Hall, VOICES, farm worker camps and many more. PPSP educators provide a connection to health services for people who may have some barriers accessing them. PPSP is one of the primary resources in Napa County for HIV information and prevention services.

Start or join a team or just join us and support this worthy cause.  Awards will be given to the top fundraisers as well as the best costume!
