Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page for Nykaja "Ny" Amadi Brooks.  Our precious "Ny", age 14 left us suddenly and sadly on April 17, 2009 as a result of a rare condition known as cerebral arteriovenous malformation (AVM).  The doctors say Ny probably had this condition from birth; however, it went totally undetected.

I am Ny's aunt and our family is deeply saddened by this sudden loss.  Ny's organ donation gift has helped saved the lives of six other young children and we hope our efforts here will help increase awareness and support the research needed to help AVM treatment and prevention.
