In this spirit of the gift giving season, we ask for your help in putting the needs of the orphans first this season...

 Our budget for food is set at $5,700 per month. In the past that was sufficient to supply food for approximately 40 orphanages with around 2,500 children living at these homes. While we are not providing 100% of their food needs, we are providing a significant amount and the homes are very dependent on our truck arriving every month. Due to rising food costs, the $5,700 a month needed to purchase food has now ballooned to almost $8,000. That is a 40% increase in cost for food in less than a year.  (For an example: a donation of $50 will purchase 100lbs of rice for an orphange.) We do not have the funds to absorb this kind of increase, so we are hoping you will help us! All proceeds raised (after Firstgiving's fee is removed ) will go towards the purchasing of rice, beans, sugar, milk, and meseca (corn flour). Please join us so we don't have to reduce our food programs and eliminate children from having their basic needs met.
