When Dave lost his father Tom (Schooner Fare) to cancer, we both looked for ways to become more involved in the cancer community. For the last three years, Dave has performed in the annual Remembering Tom Rowe fundraiser concert to benefit the Maine Cancer Foundation, and I have been blessed to lead the weekly meditation group at the Cancer Community Center. The Center has become like a second family to me and I have been touched by so many amazing people. I continue to be impressed by the quality of workshops, support, and comradery the Center offers its visitors.

This year we will be walking together as a family for the first time. (You can tell by our picture that being all together in one place is a rare event!) Not only are we walking in memory of Tom Rowe, but also in celebration of all Mindful Meditation group attendees: past, present, and future.
