Help us raise money for Sasha's surgery!  Sasha was in a bizarre accident. Her tongue was pulled from her throat and was lacerated in numerous places.  She required emergency surgery to remove half of her tongue and needed a feeding tube inserted for support during her recovery.  She is alive and doing well but surgery was expensive!  Sasha is a beautiful coonhound eating and drinking on her own!  There was no reason for this dog to not have a chance at life and she received it! Thanks to the generosity of one of our local vets her veterinary bills are half of what they could be.  We only need to raise $1500 to pay off the bill!

Palmetto Animal League is committed to leaving no animal left behind.  As an active foster care and adoption group based in Beaufort County South Carolina, Palmetto Animal League has saved over 5000 lives to date and has prevented hundreds of thousands of births through spay and neuter.  Palmetto Animal League believes in the right to life for all animals. PAL refuses to accept euthanasia as a means for controlling the animal population. PAL provides to all of the animals who come to us in need the veterinary care and services to heal the animal and to repair damage.  Sasha is just one of the many damaged animals that comes to us every year that we help.  Please help us provide the care Sasha needs and any additional funds raise will be used for the various special cases we will see this year.
