Brian Joseph Connelly was just 40 years old when his life was cut short with the most deadly of cancers, pancreatic cancer. He lived 39 of those years to the fullest and related to a friend it was like the message in the song “Time of Your Life" by Green Day, "Time grabs you by the wrist, directs you where to go, So make the best of this test and don’t ask why. It’s not a question, but a lesson learned in time.”   (To hear this song, please click on the picture under Brian's.)

For ten months, Brian battled constantly, enduring surgery, radiation, and chemo therapy, all this with no complaints and never saying “why me.”  He would always say, you play the hand you are dealt. However, with this disease everyone loses.

Brian was a motorcycle enthusiast, and enjoyed a bright spot in the midst of his treatment when he purchased his Harley in February.  He sat on it, shined it, and looked at it. In the end he was never able to ride it.  A Motorcycle Run is being planned by his brother-in-law, Joe Fahrion. It will be called “Remembering Brian.”  Details will follow.

Brian’s family have established this web site in the hope that his fund will help to lead to a cure to this disease. Thanking all who have been touched by Brian’s life for their support and caring.
