On January 10, 2009 we all lost a very special person, Joe Martinez.

Papa Joe was my grandpa, he was also an amazing boxer, his dog's absolute favorite person, my mom's pillar of strength, my dad's biggest fan and my buddy. He was also so much to so many different people.

This page was made to help the American Heart Association in their goal to support research, education, and community programs and fighting against America’s No. 1 killer, cardiovascular disease.
