Why not Party with a Purpose?
The 5th annual Party with a Purpose on Holmes Street will be on June 20th from 4:00 to 8:00 in Hyde Park. The festivities will be on Holmes Street between 36th Street and Gleed Terrace, rain or shine. There will be food & drink, live music, miniature golf, a puppet show, kids' entertainment, and other activities. For the second year, several homes will open their doors for first-floor tours.
Party with a Purpose raises funds for AIDS Walk Kansas City, a not-for-profit dedicated to helping the many men, women and children in Kansas City living with HIV and AIDS. All of the money stays in the Kansas City area and helps people right here.
The event is free for kids, and adults are asked for a $25 donation per person. If you can't make it to the party - or even if you can - please help support those in need by making a donation online, right here and right now.
If you would like to join us as an event patron, make your donation below for $150 or more before May 11th. You'll be included on the printed invitation, the e-mailed invitation, and the event-day banner.
