Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page. In June of 2005 I thought my world was crashing in around me. I was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Failure. I was only 29 years old and wondering why in the world was this happening to me. I had undergone surgery in January of 2000 to remove my right kidney. My kidney had shut down after frequent infections and simply a genetic trait. When I received the news in 2005 that my remaining kidney was down to 30% function, I came to the realization that life is just way to short and you need to enjoy every minute of it. That is why I have signed up to participate in the Gift of Life Walk and Health Fair. Would you please donate to help support my effort? The money raised by this event goes towards kidney disease and diabetes awareness and prevention, organ donation education and early detection programs.
