My personal message:

Children are my passion - my kids and other people's. Knowing that 36 million Americans go hungry, including 13 million children, I decided to do something about it. I'm helping organize the 2008 Greater Lafayette Hunger Hike on September 21, and I hope you will support me. This annual effort raises funds for three anti-hunger programs in my community: Lafayette Urban Ministry, Food Finders Food Bank, and St. Thomas Aquinas Haiti Project.

The Hunger Hike hopes to raise $70,000 this year! My personal goal is to raise $1,000, but any amount you can give will help! Please dig deep and donate to this worthy cause. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. If you don't feel comfortable donating online, you can send your contribution directly to me (make checks out to Hunger Hike). All donations are tax-deductible.
