Children are my passion - mine and other people's!  The U.N. recently reported that the world's hungry has reached ONE BILLION - that is one in six people!  More than 36 million Americans go hungry, including 13 million children.  I decided to do something about it. I'm helping to organize the 2009 Greater Lafayette Hunger Hike on September 20, and I hope you will support me. I'm excited to be a part of this annual effort which raises funds for three anti-hunger programs in my community: Lafayette Urban Ministry, Food Finders Food Bank, and St. Thomas Aquinas Haiti Committee.
