I will be participating in the BAPS Charities Walkathon 2009, an annual fundraiser event organized by BAPS Charities (www.bapscharities.org).  Last year, more than 10,000 participants of all ages joined hands to support the BAPS Charities Walkathon held in 37 cities across North America.  The proceeds from this event support initiatives for improved healthcare and medical research, as well as local beneficiaries such as fire and police precincts.  It also strives to promote family unity and volunteerism within the community.
