6th annual Walk for Animal Protection

6th annual Walk for Animal Protection

Paws4Ever 6th Annual Walk for Animal Protection

Bigger, better and more doggone fun than ever, the 6th Annual Walk for Animal Protection is happening on Saturday, November 12.  Join animal lovers from accross the Triangle on the Town Green at Southern Village to support Paws4Ever's life-saving work.  Bring your family and your pet to enjoy a day of games, music, contests, demonstrations and a two-mile walk around beautiful Southern Village.

While protecting animals is serious business, then is the event that puts the FUN in fundraising with something for everyone:

  • contests for people and their pets,
  • new games for Kids4Paws,
  • demonstrations-agility, flyball and freestyle dance,
  • Live Music with Stan Lewis,
  • Vendors, Sponsors, Friend booths with great products and services,
  • a Blessing of the Animals on the Town Green by Christ Church and so much more!

The 2 mile Walk around Southern Village kicks off at noon, and this is the hour to put your best paw forward.  This year there are more animals than ever that need help, and we're not going to let them down.  When you walk, you show your support for the homeless and less-fortunate pets in our community and you make a real difference in their lives.

Registration is $25 pre-event and $30 event day.  Kids under 8 can walk with an adult for free.  Teams are encouraged!  A team consists of 4 or more registrants.

Registration includes a t-shirt featuring this year's all-new logo designed by graphic artist Julie Schmidt of yellowDog : creative in Hillsborough.  The first 200 registrants will also receive an earth friendly logo Tote Bag.

Don't think you can make a two-mile walk?  Join us for the the pre-walk events and cheer on the walkers- you don't want to miss any of the fun and fur on this great day.
