UPDATE - Friday July 17th: a note from T-Bone's foster mom, Patty Robles
T-Bone had his suture removal appoinment today. He still has 2 more weeks of limited movement to continue healing but he can walk around the house a lot better; he needs to improve his balance and one of his legs slips once in a while but at two weeks of the operation he is doing great. He's been very sweet and brave too, he musted been in pain at some point but he never complained or gave up.
My life has been very easy and happy compared to others, helping T-Bone while he wasn't walking and thru the operation was a little challenging at times but it allowed my family experience real humanity and compassion, as my boys had to sacrifice some of their normal activities to watch him and help him out while I was at work.
Thanks AZBR, it is very rewarding to see T-Bone walking around on his own and wagging his tail for us.
UPDATE-Sunday July 5th: T-Bone is walking!!!!!!!
The surgery was a huge success and he is going home today with his foster mom. Please continue to spread the word to help with his medical expenses. Thank you so much for your support.
Update-Saturday July 4th: Great news to report.... Doc called to report that T-Bone is doing terrific! He is wagging his tail which he had not been able to do.... She again said that the surgery went amazingly and she feels great about his recovery! We are looking at Monday for his discharge as of right now. Thank you so much for your support.
T-Bone went in for emergency surgery at approximately 3:00 this afternoon. They found a ruptured herniated disc that was digging into his spinal cord during the MRI. They feel his prognosis is extremely good because he still has feeling in his toes.
T-Bone would not have been saved without Arizona Beagle Rescue. We would greatly appreciate your support. Please help T-Bone walk again. Thank you.

For some unknown reason, T-Bone woke up about a week and a half ago unable to move his back legs. He went to a vet and they said he was paralyzed and would need surgery. The vet thought it might have been a cervical lesion that caused this issue. The longer he waits for treatment if it is a confirmed cervical lesion, the less chance he has at any recovery at all in his back legs. He is not in pain which is a good thing, but he is unable to walk.
